What to take in the rucksack

Summer season

• Hiking boots or sturdy walking shoes are recommended.

• Waterproof/ windproof jacket.

• Spare clothing and a long-sleeved shirt.

• Comfortable rucksack 20-30l.

• Day pack: one liter of water, snack(e.g, cereal bars) beverages

• First aid kit and necessary medication for personal use.

• Sunhat and suncream

• Sunglasses

• Trekking poles/ can help to take some of the pressure off your knees

Winter season

• Boots waterproof, suited for terrain and conditions.

• Shoes crampons if necessary, with guide consultation.

• Ice Axe depends on whether necessary with guide consultation.

• Long underwear.

• Shell jacket, waterproof pants.

• Waterproof/ windproof jacket, down jacket.

• Day pack: one liter of water, snack, e.g, cereal bars, beverages.

• Comfortable rucksack 30l.

• Spare warm clothing and a long-sleeved shirt.

• Hat and Gloves spare.

• Headband or buff.

• Functional socks (1 spare pair)

• Sunglasses and sun cream.

• Gaiters for snow conditions.

• Trekking poles and head lamp.
