Short Itinerary
Day 1. Arrival in Macedonia
Arrival in Macedonia transfer to the hotel, accommodation, and depending on your arrival time we will be able to visit the city of Skopje. In the evening, gather at the hotel for a trip briefing. Overnight at a hotel in Skopje.
Day 2. Matka canyon
After breakfast, we’ll have a short transfer to Matka Canyon easy morning hiking tour to the 14th-century monastery high on the cliff offering amazing views of the canyon, after 2 to 3h. hiking we will visit the old Byzantine church of St. Andreas and we have a Boat ride across Lake Matka and visit Vrelo cave one of the largest natural underground cave networks in Europe. The distance of the hike is 12 km. Ascend: 0 meters Descend: 740 meters
Hiking Time: 3 hours After we end the tour we continue with 2h. drive to Bitola city.
Day 3. Pelister National Park
After breakfast, we have a 20min.transfer to the start point of the info center NP. Pelister the trail with take us to the dense Molika pine forest. The unique 5-needled pine (Pinus peuce) is typical for this National Park. We will enjoy the peace and scent of the pines discovering beautiful scenery from the viewpoints called Jorgov Stone and Red Rocks at 1800m. After we end the tour we go to the local village for a traditional homemade lunch and visit the local bee farm and taste homemade honey. Later a short guided tour to see the city of Bitola. The distance of the hike is 11 km. Ascend: 440 meters Descend: 440 meters

Day 4. Pelister National Park
We have 30min drive from Bitola to the start point. Today we will hike in the area of the village Malovista 1170m. A mountain village at the foot of Pelister mountain is the only settlement within the National Park Pelister. First, we go to the monastery and church St.Ana church at 1400m. After a short break, we continue to the small church holly salvation at 1950m. With the e beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and Pelister Peak and a beautiful view of the Prespa Lake second largest in Macedonia, the lake is shared by three countries: Albania, Greece, and Macedonia. it’s really amazing. , we descend to the village of Malovista and continue for 40min. drive to the Ohrid city where we will spend the next 3 days. The distance of the hike is 10 km. Ascend: 800 meters Descend: 800 meters

Day 5. Galicica National Park Hiking through the villages above the coast
The hike starts from the village of Velestovo at 1070m 15min. drive from Ohrid. First, we go to the peak called Elen Peak at 1200m. nice viewpoint of Ohrid city and Ohrid Lake from there we start descending to village Elshani at 890m. Or village Pestani by the coast and we will be walking for 10km. on the way, we will pass through the old village Konjsko with stone houses and views of the Ohrid Lake The walk will take around 3 hours. Afterward, we will head to the Bay of Bones, a perfect spot for a picnic lunch. Bay of Bones is a reconstructed neolithic settlement, where you will learn about life in prehistoric times. Afterward, you can either swim or we will be transferred to Ohrid to further explore the city.
After this, with the small boat, we will visit the old church of Holy Mother Zahumska (Saint Zaum) is located by the coast of the lake near the fisherman’s village of Trpejca heading back to Ohrid with the boat.
Distance: 10 km. Ascend 130 meters, descend 310 meters, hiking Time: 3 hours.
Day 6. Lako signoj peak/Two lakes view
Today we will Enjoy open space and panoramas above Ohrid and Prespa Lake, a hiking tour with a duration of 2 hours. The start is from 1600m. Galicica mountain pass and the highest point is Lakosignoj peak 1990m.from where you have beautiful views of two lakes Prespa and Ohrid lake. After the hike, we will head towards St. Naum, a monastery from the IX century, and visit the Ohrid Lake springs, Afterward, we can have lunch at the local village Trpejca after lunch with a small boat, we head back to Ohrid
Day 7. Mavrovo national park – Skopje
Today we check out from the hotel and after breakfast, with under 2 hours we drive towards the national park Mavrovo at the village of Lazaropole at 1290m ready for the last hike to the local peak called Sokolica 1460m. With a beautiful view of the sounding mountains. After the peak, we will visit the waterfall at village Rostuse and before having lunch in the traditional restaurant we will visit St. Jovan Bigorski monastery. After the meal will head towards Skopje city. Accommodation in the hotel and later we have the last dinner of this trip.

Day 8. Transfer to the airport
Transfer to the airport for your flight back home.
